The AeroGarden is amazing! It is soooo easy to use and takes literally minute a week to maintain and grow a healthy - pesticide free home garden! The plants grow so fast. Every time we have company over, they are blown away by how fast the plants are growing, and that we can walk over to the AeroGarden, pull off some leaves of lettuce, and just eat them. They can't get over it!
It is so nice to be able to have the option of enjoying fresh vegetables and herbs in our home...even in the middle of winter! The AeroGarden is a must for anyone who enjoys fresh produce or gardening. This will be the easiest (and maybe the best) indoor garden you will ever grow!

My gardening background came from when I was a child, and my family literally lived off a quarter acre of land in Michigan in the summertime. We had as many as 12 different vegetables on the table at a time from our garden during each meal.
Now, I’m living in Colorado and it’s a much more hostile gardening environment as far as insects, water and animals go. So to have something inside that you don’t have to worry about the water and all of these other elements is a very nice kind of experience. It’s quite different than the amount of work and labor and attention that gardening outside takes.
Of course, if you leave an outside garden and go away for a vacation, you have the chance of losing everything that you’ve put energy into. But this unit can last for such a long time between watering. It really is nice to be able to go away and come back and realize it’s going to be automatic, the light is automatic, the water is automatic, everything is taken care of and in a way that’s very easy to let go of.
My daughters are in kindergarten and second grade, so they’re at that age when growing things is really important, to see where food comes from, to get the whole context of how we’re living on this planet. It’s not just picking things up in plastic bags and coming home, so that’s exciting.
They like to check out the garden every day and see how well things are going. I think sometimes I’m as excited as they are. I keep peeking underneath to see how the roots are going down, looking at things to see how they’re poking their heads up out of the little plugs that come with the unit, and watching them grow.
The AeroGarden itself is so beautifully designed that it attracts people. It looks like some space age vehicle ready to take off. It’s very relevant to the design of things coming out of industry right now, out of NASA and so forth. So it’s beautiful, it’s just fun to have around and easy to take care of.

I'm a pretty experienced gardener. That's what attracted me to the AeroGarden in the first place, I just thought, "This is not possible." I've been gardening for -- since I was a teenager. My dad gardened, and I learned to garden from him. That's how I got into gardening.
It's very easy. It's almost so easy that sometimes I kind of feel like I'm not really gardening. I'm just making sure it has water in there. It works great. You don't have to do much of anything; just make sure it has the water and the little nutrients...
I think my really favorite thing was the kids got interested in the AeroGarden. We were gone for about 10 days during the early stage. They were just blown away by how fast it grew, and they got very interested in it. They have never been interested in gardening, but they're very interested in this because they took care of it and they were successful. Whenever anybody comes over, the first thing they say is, "Let's see the plants, how are they doing?" They're fascinated with how quickly the plants grow. It's a nice conversation piece. It's been really a lot of fun.

Sure, sure, I've had several gardens. But, you know, there is something incredible about not having to get into the dirt, and to know that this is going to be extremely healthy lettuce basically from Aeroponics and water -- hydroponics and nutrients that are just sprayed directly to the roots. There’s no mess, no fuss, and there you have fresh produce to enjoy eating, as well, so it's an entire experience, the AeroGarden. You feel as though you’re helping the earth, you feel as though you’re consciously taking care of moving forward towards sustainability, and you enjoy day-to-day the benefit of eating whatever it is that you’ve grown, or looking at your grown flowers.
